The City College of New York (CCNY) is accessible by car / taxi and public transportation.

While the official address for CCNY is 160 Convent Avenue, when traveling by car / taxi or public transportation, we will be using their entrance at the intersection of W. 138th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. At this intersection, you will see the landmark below – a gate:

Once you pass under the gate, continue down the path and around to your right, towards the main entrance for the NAC (North Academic Center):

By Car / Taxi:

Tell the driver to drop you off at the intersection of W. 138th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. Upon arrival, you should see the gate. Once you pass under the gate, continue down the path and around to your right, towards the main entrance for the NAC (North Academic Center).

By Public Transportation:

1 train: Get off the train at “137 St – City College” station. Walk up to W. 138th Street and make a right, walking up the hill to Amsterdam Avenue. Cross Amsterdam Avenue passing under the gate in front of you. This is about a 6-minute walk. Once you pass under the gate, continue down the path and around to your right, towards the main entrance for the NAC (North Academic Center).

A, B, C or D train: Get off the train at “145 Street” station and walk toward Convent Avenue (heading West on 145th St). Left at Convent Avenue. Continue into the campus, arriving at the North Academic Complex now on your right – the large gray building with entrance set back to the right from Convent Avenue. This is about a 7 minute walk.
